DISABLEDTRAVELERS.COM - A SATH MEMBER - PROVIDES VALUABLE INFORMATION FOR TRAVEL FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES!

May 27, 2005
MAY 17, 2005 - PRESS RELEASE FOR DISABLEDTRAVELERS.COM

One of SATH’s newest members, Jeremy Rynders is the creator and owner of DisabledTravelers.com - a new website dedicated to providing accessible travel information. The website has comprehensive listings for businesses that specialize in disabled travel. Included are travel agents, tour operators, adventure travel operators, accessible vans, and equipment rentals. The general information pages help with finding travel companions, home exchanges, airline travel information, access guides, travel products, travel resources and travel reviews on accessible/non-accessible destinations. They are requesting that travelers begin submitting travel reviews to be posted on the site.

DisabledTravelers.com has taken “accessible travel resource” to the next level and has affiliated with Hotels.com to offer a complete online travel booking system. Anyone can research and reserve hotels, vacation rentals (condos), cruises, flights, car rentals, and vacation packages for extra discounts, all on the same great website. Jeremy said, “This allows visitors to find an accessible adventure travel operator or home exchange and then quickly book their flights and/or car rental all on DisabledTravelers.com.”

DisabledTravelers.com invites all travelers to start participating in their “Travelers Community” where you will find message boards, travel blogs, and photo gallery where users can post vacation photos, create slideshows, and send e-postcards. These features are all available free of charge with the hope of creating the best accessible travel resource on the web.

“We welcome all S.A.T.H. members and supporters to start using www.disabledtravelers.com for your upcoming accessible travel needs,” said Jeremy. There are also advertising and listing opportunities immediately available for businesses. “I also want to thank S.A.T.H. for everything it does in the industry and we will continue to support S.A.T.H. and all its members in the future,” said Jeremy.
