Hawthorn Suites Becomes Sponsor of SATH

ATLANTA (March 22, 2006) – To expand its initiatives to better serve travelers with disabilities,Hawthorn Suites – the all-suites, extended stay hotel brand – has become a sponsor of The Society for Accessible Travel & Hospitality (SATH).

Microtel Inns & Suites, also franchised by USFS, was the first hotel brand to become a sponsor of SATH and has been involved with the organization since 2004.

SATH is a nonprofit educational membership organization. Its mission is to raise awareness of the needs of all travelers with disabilities, remove physical and attitudinal barriers to free access, and expand travel opportunities in the U.S. and abroad.
