Nationwide scooter rental company donates
brand new mobility scooter at National Aging Conference.

Philadelphia, P.A. – Scootaround Inc.'s award of a mobility scooter is already making a difference for the staff and students of the North American Baptist Seminary. Scootaround president Lee Meagher presented the brand new "Revo" scooter to seminary representative Dr. Gordon Harris at the recent completion of the ASA-NCOA Joint Conference in Philadelphia, P.A.

Concerned that those with mobility limitations have the same educational and employment opportunities as other students, Dr. Harris was delighted to be helping others overcome mobility limitations and said that students and staff with mobility issues are already using the scooter to assist in getting to and from classes. "The scooter provides another service that goes beyond what schools normally consider." said Dr. Harris.

Scootaround is America's only nationwide rental company, providing scooter and wheelchair rentals to business and vacation travelers across the country. They also provide mobility enhancement services for conventions and tradeshows through fleet rentals, onsite-programs and assistive staffing.

Meagher says this scooter donation is only the beginning and that Scootaround is nearing the final stages of launching the Clarence Vincent Foundation (CVF). Its focus will be to provide free mobility scooters to qualified individuals who require scooter use for daily living. Visit for more information.
