MINNEAPOLIS – Williams Sound Corp, a leading manufacturer of hearing assistance technology in the U.S and abroad, will showcase the popular Hearing Helper® Tour Guide system at the upcoming SATH World Congress in Miami, FL, January 14-18.

The Hearing Helper® Tour Guide system provides hearing assistance and an improved listening experience for everyone in a tour group. “Nearly 1 in 4 of tour guide participants suffer from a hearing disability,” says John Flaa, Sales and Marketing Director of Williams Sound. “With the Hearing Helper Tour Guide system, hard-of-hearing participants can listen to the guide speak at the volume of their personal comfort level – ensuring they have the same experience as the rest of the members in the group.”

Tour guide participants listen to the guide speak by way of FM signal. The guide’s message is delivered directly to the participant’s headphones – eliminating distractions or background noise at a distance of 150 feet. Tour guide participants are thus allowed to wander: they can focus on the areas of the tour that meet their personal interest – without missing any important facts or information provided by the tour guide.

The Hearing Helper® Tour Guide meets the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for hearing assistance, and is also FCC approved for language interpretation.

Each Hearing Helper® Tour Guide system comes complete with a 5-year factory warranty.
